Maybe because...BG, such a great post this morning! Maybe because I live alone, I can write at home, but I do love the *existence* of all the coffeehouses in my neighborhood. My favorite is in my old St. Paul neighborhood, full of college students and baby-boomers alike, but in my own neighborhood there must be 6 or 7 all within a mile and each with their own unique personality...and all with their own community. <BR/>I remember that you would disappear for a few hours each night at Penland to visit their coffeehouse so I know what you're saying is true!<BR/>And thank you for reminding us that this seemingly ubiquitous social spot is really something not to be taken for granted.Riverlarkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03406533305728808100noreply@blogger.com
